Our Teachers
Brooke McGuire, Director Brooke has worked at Moscow Dayschool since 2005. She began her child care career in 1997 in Elko, Nevada. She enrolled at The College of Southern Idaho in pursuit of an associate degree in elementary education, but quickly realized her love for teaching younger children. Brooke received her child development license in 2001 and also became a N.A.E.Y.C. member. Her hobbies include boating, camping, reading in the sun, and visiting her family in Michigan. She has lived in the Moscow area since 1999 and wouldn’t live anywhere else. |
Heather Tout, Lead Teacher Pre-Kindergarten Class Heather graduated from Lewis Clark State College in 2007 with her AAS in Early Childhood Development. She has worked at McDonald Elementary as an aide in the K+ program. She was also a lead teacher at the Learning Center in Pullman, Washington for 2 years. She also has experience working at St. Rose's as well as East Side Learning Center, both in Moscow. Heather brings over 10 years of experience working with Preschoolers to Moscow Day School. Away from work Heather enjoys camping, fishing, and relaxing with her animals and being with her friends and family. |
Natalie Guier, Lead Teacher Preschool Class Natalie has worked as an aide and has served as an AmeriCorps member for both Troy Preschool and Moscow Day School. She received her CDA in the summer of 2009 and is excited to begin her lead teacher position in the preschool room! Natalie enjoys relaxing with a good book, watching movies, playing board games and spending time with friends and family. |
Char-Marie Jennings, Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Char-Marie is from Aurora, Missouri. She graduated from Missouri State University in 2007 with a degree in elementary education. She taught 5th grade before moving with her husband to Washington so he could attend grad school at WSU. Char-Marie enjoys scrap booking, reading, and going to the gym. |
