Assistant Teacher

Full-Time

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? Moscow Day School is looking for patient and compassionate childcare teachers who have experience working with children. A Moscow Day School teacher will help lead developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist teachers in creating age-appropriate lessons

- Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect

- Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe

- Prepare and serve snacks and meals throughout the day

- Keep parents and families updated on their students' daily activities and progress

REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma/GED

- 1+ years of experience working in Child Development or a related field

- Ability to work creatively and flexibly

- Ability to pass nationwide background check

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certification in Pediatrics CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

- Current City of Moscow Childcare License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

- Associates Degree or CDA in Early Childhood Development or Related field (preferred, not required)

PAY & BENEFITS:

$15.00 per hour DOE, plus competitive benefits
